| Another recently completed scheme in a town
garden. Here the client was looking for a contemporary easy care design
on a steeply sloping site. The garden was to have a Mediterranean
feel, some sort of water feature and a patio area under trees and away
from the house.
|
 |
These are a set of photos taken by the client as the
makeover progressed.
The garden before we began. A traditional layout from the 1930's with
a concrete block up-stand to change the level and a central path from
one end of the garden to the other. |
| We begin by lifting the turfs and building raised planters
made up on site from treated timber. |
 |
The concrete path is removed and used as the base for the new patio. |

The timber planters near completion.
|
 |
With the planters, path and a new shed base completed, the
old plants are removed and work begins on preparing the borders for new
planting and installing the water feature. |
And finally the planting and water feature are complete, together
with a new bench seat on the patio for the clients to sit, relax and
enjoy their new outlook. |
